AP YSR Sampoorna Poshan Plus Scheme 2021

The Chief Minister of the Andhra Pradesh state Mr. YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched a new scheme name YSR Sampoorna Poshana Plus Scheme which will be very beneficial to all of the people who want to get a good livelihood. The Sampoorna Poshana Plus Scheme has been launched for all the women of the state who are currently expecting their children. Under this new scheme, proper nutrition will be provided to pregnant women and lactating women. 

YSR Sampoorna Poshan Plus Scheme 

 The Andhra Pradesh State  Government has launched this AP YSR Sampoorna Poshan Plus Scheme to help the people of the state. This Sampoorna Poshan Plus Scheme  launched on the date  1st September 2020 by the Chief Minister Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Under this scheme, the pregnant ladies, new mums, and the infants will get a lot of benefits that are provided by the State Government Andhra Pradesh. YSRSPP scheme will be actualized in the 77 Ancestral Mandals in the state. The another YSR Sampoorna Poshana Scheme will be actualized for women who are staying in plain zones. The New YSRSPP Diet Schemes will be cover through 55,607 Anganwadi Centers which will provide benefits around 30 lakh women in the Andhra Pradesh state.

YSRSPP scheme will provide benefits to the 27 lakh women and youngsters through 47,287 Anganwadi. Under the YSRSPP scheme, the State Government of Andhra Pradesh announced the budget Rs. 1,555 crore. he New YSRSPP Diet Schemes will be cover through 55,607 Anganwadi Centers which will provide benefits around 30 lakh women in the Andhra Pradesh state. Under the YSRSPP scheme, the Andhra Pradesh State Government will spend  Rs. 1100  every month for pregnant women and a new mother’s eating regimen in tribal areas Rs. 350 for newborn children and Rs. 412 for youngsters. Under the YSRSPP scheme, the diet routine plans secured just those with iron-deficient conditions yet now new plans will cover for all the destitute individuals.

YSR Sampoorna Poshan Plus Scheme Objective

The main aim behind the scheme, the state government of Andhra Pradesh will provide nutritious food to tribal pregnant women, new mothers, and poor children of the state. Under this scheme, the Andhra Pradesh state government will provide nutritious food to children and pregnant women, irrespective of their health profile the state. In order to remove ‘malnutrition’ and ‘anemia’ among pregnant and lactating mothers and children aged between 6 months – 6 years, the State government of Andhra Pradesh has launched YSR Sampoorna Poshana Plus and YSR Sampoorna Poshana schemes to provide supplementary nutrition by Anganwadi centers.

YSR Sampoorna Poshan Plus Scheme Key Features

Under the YSR Sampoorna Poshan Plus  Scheme, the State government of Andhra Pradesh will spend Rs.1,100 every month on each pregnant and lactating woman, Rs. 620 on each child aged between 6-36 months, and Rs.553 on each child aged between 36-72 months. The state government will spend around  Rs. 307.55 crores per annum on 3,80,000 beneficiaries through this scheme.

Under the YSR Sampoorna Poshan scheme, the Andhra Pradesh State government will spend Rs. 850 every month on each pregnant and lactating women, Rs. 412 on each child aged between 6-36 months, and Rs. 350 on each child aged between 36-72 months. The state government will spend around Rs.1,555.56 crores per annum on 26,36,000 beneficiaries through this scheme.

YSR Sampoorna Poshana Plus will be intended to provide nutritious food exclusively in 77 Tribal areas covering 8 ITDAs, 52 ICDS projects, and 8,320 Anganwadi Centres. All other remaining urban and rural areas lying in plain lands will cover under the YSR Sampoorna Poshana scheme by the state government.

YSR Sampoorna Poshan Plus Scheme Application Procedure

Anganwadi workers take a survey of the Anganwadi Centre (AWC) catchment area to enroll the beneficiaries of the scheme.

The Anganwadi workers will register all the children (6 months to 6 years), pregnant women, lactating mothers in the Andhra Pradesh state under the AP Sampoorna Poshan Plus Scheme/ AP Sampoorna Poshan Scheme.

The candidate’s details will register in the  Common Application Software (CAS) to monitor service delivery by the workers.

At the Anganwadi center, the growth monitoring (height and weight) of every child will be conducted every month.

The AWW/Supervisor will prepare the list of SUM/SAM/MAM children to ASHA/ ANM/ MO (PHC).

At the Anganwadi center and recorded in CAS the Weight of pregnant women should be monitored every month.

Under this scheme the pregnant women, lactating mothers shall be educated by the Anganwadi supervisor that how to utilize protein, energy-based take-home ration provided without distributing among family members.
